Responding to the decisions of the Basel Convention Three meetings with Basel Convention Expert Committee were organized. In which, discussed issues include EU and OECD TBM regulations, revision of the manual for controlling of waste transboundary movements and reporting of four international conferences regarding Basel Convention. Inquiry of the regulations on transboundary movement of waste of some OECD countries was also provided. Besides, analysis on the revision of China’s regulations was also completed. 6. Participating in the Basel Convention (BC) activities. In 2007, we participated in four face-to-face conferences with four papers presented: (1) the second International Conference on Waste Management and Technology in Beijing, China, (2) the 6th Open-Ended Working Group (OEWG6) in Geneva, Switzerland, (3) the 3rd Expert Meeting on Solid Waste Management in Asia and Pacific – for networking of experts in Okayama, Japan and (4) the 4th NIES E-Waste Conference in Tsukuba, Japan. 7.
